WEST OAKLAND COMMUNITY COLLABORATIVE
About
Founded in 2001 with nine West Oakland community-based organizations, and support from The San Francisco Foundation, and Alameda County Supervisor Keith Carson, the West Oakland Community Collaborative (WOCC) brings together community-based and faith-based organizations, schools, and businesses serving West Oakland to address a wide range of issues from homelessness, housing insecurity, affordable housing, employment, entrepreneurship, food security, and health care to education, economic self-sufficiency, youth & family services, and safety.
